Study finds new relationship between gene duplication and alternative splicing in plants
University of Georgia scientists looking to understand the genetic mechanisms of plant defense and growth have found for the first time in plants an inverse relationship between gene duplication and alternative splicing. Warnell celebrates Homecoming with golf, awards
UGA trounced Tennessee Tech in our Homecoming game on Saturday, and Warnell helped the celebration even before kickoff. Alumni and friends came into Athens for golf, clay shooting and fine dining during Warnell's annual Homecoming festivities. Full story
Warnell hosts Boy Scouts Advance-a-Rama
Warnell hosted the Cherokee District's Fall Advance-a-Rama, in which more than 250 Boy Scouts and Scout leaders took classes on UGA's campus and at Whitehall to work towards earning merit badges. Full story
